In the digital age the QR code has become a staple of everyday life; in restaurants, bars, museums, classrooms, your doctors office, and on the street. There is an element of mystery about the QR code, on its face each looks nearly identical to the last, while its content on the inside changes dramatically with each one.

Paired with Betsy Zacsek's performance of The Cabinet of Secret Art, OPAL will display QR code links to the work of artists visual art, film, music, writing, etc. as QR codes in place of the physical piece. Works can be for sale, but it is not required. In the event the work is sold through OPAL we will work with the artist to ship the work and deliver it to the buyer. The gallery fee is 30%.

A suggested donation/entry of $15 can be paid through the OPAL website.
