Thank you for your interest in designing for the Oak Park Art League's  HOUSE of OPAL fashion show, which is a featured portion of our annual fundraising gala. 

The event will be held Saturday September 12, 6:30 - 9pm at the Nineteenth Century Club, Oak Park, IL

We welcome a broad spectrum of fashion including wearable art & sculpture, knit/crochet clothing, upcycled garments or looks made from scratch, from couture to ready to wear.

- Each designer/stylist can submit a collection or single design for one of the show's three categories:     

1920s Era |   1970s Era  |   The Future   

- Retail businesses or stylists can submit looks but if they are promoting their business this would be considered a sponsorship and a fee (ticket price) would be required to be featured in the show.

- Cash award for winners  

- This is a curated fashion show, designers selected for the show will be notified by August 17

Please fill out the submission form by August 12, 2026 midnight, to be considered for the event.  

Designers will be responsible for fittings, hair and make up.  Production team can assist with finding models if needed. Further details will be shared with selected designers. 

Please note, this is not a paid gig but selected designers will have the opportunity to show their work, attend the event at no charge ($100 ticket value) be promoted on social media and have photos taken of their work for their CV and portfolio.
