Thank you for your interest in designing for the Oak Park Art League's  HOUSE of OPAL fashion show, which is a featured portion of our annual fundraising gala. 

The event will be held Saturday September 12, 6:30 - 9pm at the Nineteenth Century Club, Oak Park, IL

- $20 to apply to this juried opportunity

- 6 designers will be selected 

- Each designer will present a design for the show's three categories :     1920s Era |   1970s Era  |   The Future   

- Cash award for winners  

- Judges (TBA)    

Please fill out the submission form and pay the entry fee by June 28th, 2026 midnight, to be considered for the event.  Notifications of selected designers by July 15th.     

Designers will be responsible for fittings, hair and make up.  Production team can assist with finding models if needed. Further details will be shared with selected designers. 

Please note, this is not a paid gig but selected designers will have the opportunity to show their work, attend the event at no charge ($100 ticket value) be promoted on social media and have photos taken of their work for their CV and portfolio.
